B/W image scanned from a negative of an Oliver Number 6, 20-bottom (20 plow blades) tractor gang plow. Photograph taken possibly in a farm field owned by James Oliver, south of Sample Street. The gang plow is being pulled by a steam tractor. This plow was primarily used for marketing and publicity purposes to show the strength of an Oliver plow. 1900 ca. |
