Sepia-toned image of the home of Mr. Frank Mayr, Sr., 215 S. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. Frank Mayr, Sr. owned and operated the Frank Mayr and Sons jewelry store located at 121 W. Washington Street, South Bend, Indiana. He was also the first president of the Union Trust Company, 120 S. Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. Frank Sr. had a son, Frank Mayr, Jr., who was Indiana's Secretary of State from 1930/12/01- 1934/12/01. The image has been cut out of a local South Bend book (i.e. "South Bend and the Men Who Made It"). It is on cardstock. |
