This is taking place in a cornfield that James Oliver possibly owned south of Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana. The photo is oriented looking north. On the upper left side of the photograph you can see the smokestacks that belong to the Singer Sewing Machine Company, 2101 W. Western Ave., South Bend, Indiana. |
