B/W copy of photograph of the residence of Jacob Woolverton, 313 S. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. Jacob Woolverton was born in St. Joseph County, Indiana on 1845/09/03 and died in South Bend, Indiana on 1941/05/04. Along with William Kizer, Jacob founded the South Bend Malleable Steel Range Company in 1898. This company eventually became South Bend Range Company, manufacturers of private and professional cooking stoves. The image has been cut out of a local South Bend book (i.e. "South Bend and the Men Who Made It"). It is on cardstock. |
